Facilitator:
Celia Logan

November 3rd, 2010

Communication in Canada is much more than merely learning the English words for saying “Hello” or “Hi, how are you”.

This workshop looked at the larger picture of intercultural communication and the origin of some of the difficulties in communicating in a different culture and a different language. The workshop gave volunteers some tools to help learners communicate more effectively in a number of different situations in a Canadian context.
