volunteer profile - Allison

I have been volunteering at Bow Valley College for just over five years and am still loving it. Having lived myself in many places in the world, I know what it is like to struggle with a new language and the complexities of a different culture. Many people have helped me and, in turn, I like to help others as best I can. Over the five years, I have been with students of every age and from all parts of the globe. We enjoy exchanging our stories and getting to know about each other. It is a privilege for me to be a small part of our students' journey.
