volunteer profile - Nataliya

Nataliya is an instructor at the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) where she creatively guides her students in acquiring the art of glass blowing. She sought out an opportunity with our ESL program to participate twice a week because she wanted to make a contribution to the city that had opened its arms to her family more than thirty years ago. She calls on her own past experiences to help those struggling to become more acquainted with a new culture and customs. The students enjoy her liveliness and friendly nature.
